Stroll down memory lane

I dropped Alex off today at preschool and decided to go walking, his school is at the Methodist Church, it is very close to where we used to live when we first moved to Gaylord, I decided to stroll down one of the sidewalks, and of course it was all redone, but as soon as I stepped onto that sidewalk I instantly started to smile, it was on that block that I met my best friend Jessica, we were in second grade. We used to ride our bikes down that sidewalk all the time, going over and over the same bumps, cuz it was cool! As I turned onto the next sidewalk I was still smiling, I saw Jessica's house and the bush that I hid in outside their front door cuz I said k i double l, and Alicia said I'm telling my uncle Joe, I was like oh my gosh I am in so much trouble. I was so scared. As I kept walking I saw the side of Tacia's yard where we put the famous wet banana, I think I said something about calling the police cuz I wanted it in our yard which was all bumpy and yucky, and we would have probably cut our legs and stomach on, but I didn't care. And where my sister used to sit with Jessica and talk and I used to get so jealous, cuz Jess wouldn't talk to me cuz my sister was so cool cuz she was older, and plus I used to think they were talking about me. In front of jess's house on the street is where my sister did her famous moon walk w/headphones on, ahhhh Michael Jackson, we all loved him so!!! I really wish we would have gotten pictures of that!!! Then a tiny bit further is where we lived, the same bumps in the sidewalk where we loved to ride our bikes Jess had the best bike, bright pink, and that big huge puffy seat, and I had this light purple banana seat bike, I always wanted Jess's bike. The tree that I got stuck up in and told Jess and Lish to go get there dad, cuz he was a fireman, is now gone. We used to have this neighbor (we lived in a duplex) that played the drums, very loudly, we used to bang on the walls, oh good times on oak street. I am so thankful God put us next to the Tacia's, they were the best, and they still are. isn't it funny how the Lord just knew that if he put us together that we would always be there for each other, we would always be friends, we would always love each other!!! Even if I used to call Mary and say"um jessica and Jenny are sitting outside talking about me" she probably hung up laughing. I just wanted to share that little story w/y'all(I said it like that so Jenny could understand)JK!!! I love you all so much!!!! Have an awesome day!

Care,
How fun to read this and take a stroll with ya! Those were the good ole'days weren't they?! I will never forget all the fun times either. Like walking to the movies and 7-11,wax lips, big league chew, sleepovers (I would always end up back home before the night was over!),playing with the Deterings and Greg Walls in Tom's truck, Oh, and the time someone (I think my Dad), dressed up as Santa and you cried! I could go on and on! What fun memories we have. I thank the Lord to for allowing us to be neighbors and growing up together, even though we all moved. I just wish that we could all live closer so that our children could have what we did. Ya know? But I do have this to look forward....heaven someday with all of us together, laughing and enjoying worshiping the Lord together. Won't that be AWESOME! I love you so much Care and am so grateful for your friendship. And even though we don't get to see each other or talk often you and your chitlins' are always in my prayers and in my heart! Love you !
