Our Jammin Jumper!!

Esther is in an after school class called Jammin Jumpers, where they jumprope , as you can tell. Last Friday she had a parents night, where all the girls and boys perform, it was really neat, sorry the third picture is blurry, but she was moving of course!! She really enjoys it, and tomorrow she is doing a show at the high school during the half time basketball game,so I will be updating some pictures after that!!

I just want you all to know that we have ANOTHER snow day!!!! That's 3 in a row, I think that might be a record for Gaylord!!! In some ways I am glad and some ways I am sad!! Don't get me wrong I love my kids, but yesterday I had to throw all the markers away, gone in the garbage, because Lizzie(my sweet Lizzie) decided that she was angry with Esther and needed to color all over her pillow, with green marker, although green is Esther's favorite color at the moment, she did not think that coloring on her pillow was very funny!!! Well, I'm sure most of you who read this, your kids are at school, while mine are here with me, sitting on my lap, scratching my arm(Alex), begging me to teach her how to cook, so I have to go and be the best mom I know how, and that is to LISTEN to my kiddies, and let them talk to me, and just love them!!!! Update on Heidi

Heidi is now breathing on her own, and has left the hospital in Saginaw and is in Hillman at the nursing home. There is no change in her condition. My mom and I did go to a benefit dinner for Heidi last weekend, it was an awesome turnout, there were a ton a people!! It was great to see so many people there to support Heidi and her family!! Please keep Heidi and her family in your prayers!!!!

SNOW DAYZ!!!

Well, we've had 2 snow days in a row!!!! Ugh! It's really rough sometimes, especially when they fight, not all the time, but when they do I sometimes feel like I just can't handle it! But I do have to realize that they are brother and sisters, and they are gonna get into spats every now and then!!! Yesterday it was about 40deg. outside, so in the afternoon, I made them go outside and get some fresh air, today, that cannot happen, the wind is blowing very badly! And it is freezing outside! It's about 8 right now!! Have a great day!!!

Prayer request for Heidi

Prayer request for a cousin of mine that is in a coma at a hospital in Saginaw, she collapsed on Christmas morning while nursing her newborn baby. She has been in the hospital ever since, they are really hoping for a miracle. The family needs prayers, if you could just keep the family in your prayers, her name is Heidi McNeal her husband's name is Brett, baby Hunter, her mom Mary, her dad Bill, her brother Adam, and her sister Esther. I'm sorry I do not know all the details, but I do know that they need prayers!!!

Esther got some new jammies from Aunt Amy and she loves them, and they really do look comfy, her cousins Derek and Jake said she looked like Laura Ingalls,, she did not know who that was, so I had to make her watch it, so she could see just who Laura was!! I can't figure out how to turn that picture!!

Pretty Winter Weather!!

I took some pics today of the snow outside on the trees, it just looked so pretty, the heavy snow on the branches!!! It looked so peaceful, so quiet, until I came back inside!!

We did get to go sledding one day, it was the coldest day, but everyone had a great time!!! Uncle Dan did all the pushing!!

My sister made it home for the holidays!!! We had an awesome time!!! I loved having them home.. We miss them terribly! It was very sad to see them go, but hopefully they will be coming home for some time in the summer!!!! Everyone came to our house for christmas, and for new years eve..It was a great time!!! New years eve was interesting, an hour before everyone was supposed to be here the kids (my kids) were playing in the basement, and all of a sudden Esther comes running upstairs saying "mom, oh my gosh, there's water, hurry,hurry) I'm thinking oh man, I go downstairs, and there is water shooting out from our hot water heater. We have a play kitchen in front of this hot water htr, and they were trying to close the door and pushing it and there was a strawberry teapot on top that fell off and hit the valve that was on the bottom and broke the valve right off, so out shoots water, like all over, Rod was not happy, I called my mom to call Don, he came over and he said "no big deal we can get this fixed in a jiffy" he actually had the parts at his house, so luckily we only live about 3 minutes away from each other!! Anyway it's fixed and everybody was so happy, and we thank you Don so much!!!! I did not take pictures of this event although it would have been great I don't think my husband would have thought so!!! I do however have pics of christmas and sledding so iI will post them!!! Hope everyone had a great christmas and a good new year!!
