Happy Thanksgiving!!!
I'm thankful for my husband who doesn't always understand how a twenty dollar bill burns a hole in my pocket, but loves me anyway. I'm thankful for Esther who talks to herself in the mirror, she can be a sassy little ten year old, but she has the biggest heart, and is so thoughtful. I'm thankful for Liz, who keeps me on my toes, she is a firecracker, screams when she is angry, hits, troublemaker, but at the end of the day when we tuck her into bed, she always says those four little words that make my heart melt, I love you mom! I'm thankful for Alex, my little mama's boy, who is also getting a little temper, stomps to his bedroom when he is mad, slams the door, says I'm mean, then he will come out and say I'm forry mom, I'm really forry, I promise I will not get mad at you ever again. He also does this thing where he scratches my arm all the time, whenever I wear a short sleeved shirt, he looks at my bare arms and just comes running over and starts to scratch, and when he lays with us at night thats how he goes to sleep, by scratching my arm. I'm thankful for my mom who is so special, she is the best meme ever, her grandchildren each have a special place in her heart, she loves unconditionally, helps people when they need help, she also has a big heart, and is so thoughtful, she was a single mom and did a terrific job, I think my sister and I turned out very well, so thank you mom for teaching me what was right and what was wrong, even though I didn't always listen, just to let you know I really was listening. I'm thankful for my sister, she was a great big sister, we had our outs but we pretty much always got along, I love her so much, she is the one who I call and complain to when something is going on, she listens to me ramble on and on, I miss her so much, I can not wait until we see them at christmastime. I'm thankful for Rod's mom, she is very thoughtful and always willing to help when she can, she is a great grandma, and the kids all love and miss her very much. I'm thankfull for Rod's brother and sister-in-law, they are great and they love my kids, and that means alot to us!! I'm thankful for my best friend Jessica, she always lifts me up when I am blue, even if I did threaten to call the police when we were ten, she gives me great advice, and I can tell her anything, that means alot, I love you Jess. I'm thankful that the lord has given me all these wonderful people, and one more thing, I have thinking so much of my dad lately, I so wish that he was here with us, he would love all the kids, I just keep picturing him here with me, sitting here laughing and telling stories. I miss him so much, so I thank the lord that he has let me have these memories of him, but I also hurt so much cuz I miss him so much. I am thankful for all my friends and family!! I love you all so much, everybody holds a special place in my heart, have a wonderful Thanksgiving, God bless you all!!!!

Stroll down memory lane
I dropped Alex off today at preschool and decided to go walking, his school is at the Methodist Church, it is very close to where we used to live when we first moved to Gaylord, I decided to stroll down one of the sidewalks, and of course it was all redone, but as soon as I stepped onto that sidewalk I instantly started to smile, it was on that block that I met my best friend Jessica, we were in second grade. We used to ride our bikes down that sidewalk all the time, going over and over the same bumps, cuz it was cool! As I turned onto the next sidewalk I was still smiling, I saw Jessica's house and the bush that I hid in outside their front door cuz I said k i double l, and Alicia said I'm telling my uncle Joe, I was like oh my gosh I am in so much trouble. I was so scared. As I kept walking I saw the side of Tacia's yard where we put the famous wet banana, I think I said something about calling the police cuz I wanted it in our yard which was all bumpy and yucky, and we would have probably cut our legs and stomach on, but I didn't care. And where my sister used to sit with Jessica and talk and I used to get so jealous, cuz Jess wouldn't talk to me cuz my sister was so cool cuz she was older, and plus I used to think they were talking about me. In front of jess's house on the street is where my sister did her famous moon walk w/headphones on, ahhhh Michael Jackson, we all loved him so!!! I really wish we would have gotten pictures of that!!! Then a tiny bit further is where we lived, the same bumps in the sidewalk where we loved to ride our bikes Jess had the best bike, bright pink, and that big huge puffy seat, and I had this light purple banana seat bike, I always wanted Jess's bike. The tree that I got stuck up in and told Jess and Lish to go get there dad, cuz he was a fireman, is now gone. We used to have this neighbor (we lived in a duplex) that played the drums, very loudly, we used to bang on the walls, oh good times on oak street. I am so thankful God put us next to the Tacia's, they were the best, and they still are. isn't it funny how the Lord just knew that if he put us together that we would always be there for each other, we would always be friends, we would always love each other!!! Even if I used to call Mary and say"um jessica and Jenny are sitting outside talking about me" she probably hung up laughing. I just wanted to share that little story w/y'all(I said it like that so Jenny could understand)JK!!! I love you all so much!!!! Have an awesome day!

Alex's school picture
Surprising Jenny!
This past weekend, my mom, my kids and myself flew to Savannah Georgia to surprise her and the kids!!! We made plans about 3 weeks ahead of time, and every time I talked to her, I kept wanting to say I'll see ya in a couple of weeks, but I kept the secret! We got to Savannah about 3:00pm and rented a car and drove to her house and pulled up on the back side of their house blew the horn, alot and very loud, Jakob looked out the window, and we waved, they all came running out! Jenny cried, we all cried, it was awesome, we had the most fun, we went to the ocean, we went down to riverstreet, we saw some buildings where Dan attends school!!! We had a really good time! I did however forget to bring my camera, so I have no pictures to go along with this story. The kids and everybody all look so good!!! It was sad to go, but they will be home for Christmas!!! So I can't wait!!!
